Integrative Registered Nurse for Wellness Clinic

The Ideal Candidate would have the following characteristics:

  • Outgoing personality and enjoys working with people.
  • Able to work PRN, Part Time or Full Time.
  • Comfortable with all IV related practices.
  • Meets all state requirements and must be licensed and in good standing to practice medicine.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and at the same time be able to work in a team setting with very competent and like-minded individuals.
  • Willingly adheres to all policies and procedures and maintains compliance at all times.


Responsibilities & Duties
  • Performs nursing assessment and evaluation under The Covery's medical and nursing protocols.
  • Triage clients and must know normal vital sign parameters and follow standard protocols for abnormalities, including alerting the Nurse Manager and/or Medical Provider.
  • Administers two primary nursing services: intravenous therapy and intramuscular injections using the prescribed formula and array of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and following sterile technique.
  • Hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
  • Cryotherapy treatments.
  • Other services that include: Red Light Therapy, Dry Float treatments, HALO-IR, Compression therapy, Aesthetic services, etc.
  • Uses electronic medical records to document client visits and therapies received.
  • Under the provider's and nursing managers supervision, address and answer client questions using educational materials and communicate to the nursing team any issues or adverse events.
  • Exhibits use of therapeutic communication, exceptional customer service, professionalism, timeliness, efficiency, and teamwork in all aspects of work.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, educate clients and potential clients about The Covery and all services provided.
  • Maintains a level of knowledge conducive to providing high-quality, competitive and kind nursing care.
  • Perform administrative duties including restocking supplies, anticipating stock needs, alerting the Nurse Manager of low stock.
  • Assists staff with other store services.
  • Opportunity to participate in off-site nursing events and special projects. Participates in periodical and mandatory nursing evaluations.
  • Other related functions as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Louisiana.
  • At least ONE year of experience as a nurse in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, OR), clinic, or private practice.
  • One year of experience administering injections and intravenous therapy.
  • Experience and a high comfort level with using a computer to document.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse community and provide services from a non-judgemental perspective.

Client Specialist

The Client Specialist's responsibilities include the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally, this position will assist with transitional cleaning of the treatment areas as needed.

Part-time position with potential to become full time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be punctual and maintain consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Properly open and close clinic each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the clinic.
  • Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of treatments, memberships, packages, services, and hours of operation.
  • Utilize clinic computers and iPad with skill and proficiency; document guest information in electronic record as directed.
  • Familiarity with Clinic Booking Software (MindBody).
  • Answers phone promptly and use the guest's name throughout the phone conversation; operate phone system accurately and efficiently.
  • Actively promote the clinic, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests; develop professional and personalized relationship with regular guests.
  • Handle guests' questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area.
  • Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low.
  • Must be able to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the clinic.
  • Assist in all areas of clinic operation as requested by management.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the clinic that require attention.


Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as Customer Service representative.
